MINSK, 10 December (BelTA) – Vietnam's parliamentary delegation led by Chairperson of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan is expected to pay an official visit to Belarus on 12-14 December, BelTA learned from the press service of the Council of the Republic.
The Vietnamese representatives are set to meet with speakers of the Council of the Republic and the House of Representatives Natalya Kochanova and Vladimir Andreichenko, Belarus' Prime Minister Sergei Rumas.
The Vietnamese MPs are set to visit MAZ and Adani that produces X-ray inspection, medical and radiodiagnostic equipment, desk analytical instrumentation. The Vietnamese delegation is also expected to visit Minsk secondary school No.201.
Belarus-Vietnam trade totaled $115.3 million in 2018, $153.4 million in January-September 2019. Belarus' main exports to Vietnam are potash fertilizers, trucks, tractors, haulers, tyres, polyamides, engines, medications, metal products, meat, dairy and alcohol products and others. Belarus imports Vietnamese mobile phones, office equipment, seafood, rice, nuts, light industry products, natural rubber, processed tropic fruit, tea and coffee.
