Vietnam president arrives in Belarus on official visit

MINSK, 26 June (BelTA) – President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Tran Dai Quang has arrived in Belarus on an official visit, BelTA has learned.

It is expected that he will meet with the representatives of the Belarus-Vietnam friendship society, the Vietnamese expat community and students on 26 June.

The negotiations of Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko and Vietnam President Tran Dai Quang will take place on 27 June. The parties will discuss the entire spectrum of bilateral cooperation. The development of trade and economic cooperation will be in the spotlight. After the talks of the two leaders the sides will sign a package of documents on the expansion of cooperation in various fields. On 27 June, Alexander Lukashenko and Tran Dai Quang will also attend the opening of the Belarusian-Vietnamese business forum.

The program of the official visit also includes meetings with the senior officials of the Belarusian government and the National Assembly, visits to enterprises and cultural facilities.
