MINSK, 23 May (BelTA) – The Supreme State Council of the Union State will hold a meeting in Moscow on 30 June, Belarus' Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei said as he met with young and veteran diplomats of Belarus and Russia on 23 May, BelTA has learned.
“The Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia will take place in late June. The forum is held under the patronage of our presidents. The Supreme State Council of the Union State will hold its meeting on 30 June,” said Vladimir Makei.
The Supreme State Council of the Belarus-Russia Union State will be preceded by a Belarusian-Russian ministerial board meeting. The events will be held in Moscow. “We will be discussing cooperation issues,” he added.
The visit of representatives of the veteran and young trade unions of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to Minsk is taking place as part of the celebrations of the 25th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Belarus and Russia.
