MINSK, 25 April (BelTA) - Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov will pay an official visit to Belarus in May 2016. During the visit the sides are expected to sign a big package of documents aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation. According to the Embassy of Belarus in Turkmenistan, this issue was on the agenda of the meeting of Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich and the Turkmenistan president.
According to the Trend news agency, Mikhail Myasnikovich said at the meeting that Turkmenistan and Belarus are currently implementing about 10 projects. Promising cooperation avenues include drone aircraft, information technologies, medicine, and other fields.
