SINGAPORE, 12 June (BelTA –Yonhap) - North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and U.S. President Donald Trump signed a "comprehensive" deal Tuesday on starting a denuclearization process "very quickly."
The two leaders agree to establish a new U.S.-N. Korea relationship, to join their efforts to build lasting peace and a stable peace regime on the Korean Peninsula. They also commit to work toward the complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula and to commit to recovering remains of prisoners of war and immediate repatriation of those identified.
United States and North Korea commit to hold follow-on negotiations led by U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and a relevant North Korean high-level official at the earliest possible date to implement the outcomes of the summit.
