MINSK, 19 July (BelTA) – The trilateral contact group promoting the peace settlement in Ukraine has resumed talks in Minsk, BelTA learned from the Twitter account of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The previous meeting of the contact group took place in the Belarusian capital on 5 July. During the meeting, OSCE's special representative in the trilateral contact group Martin Sajdik pointed out the importance of the agreement on ceasefire for the harvesting period from 24 June to 31 August, thanks to which the intensity of gunfire has reduced. It was also noted that the process of additional verification of the free expression of will of detained personds has been completed.
