MINSK, 15 May (BelTA) – The trilateral contact group promoting the peace settlement in Ukraine has resumed talks in Minsk, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The meeting was preceded by meetings of the working groups.

The previous meeting of the OSCE-Ukraine-Russia contact group took place on 26 April. The parties agreed on the mechanism for verifying whether the prisoners of war want to stay where they are after they are released.

The meeting also considered a number of economic issues, including the introduction of the so-called external administration for enterprises under Ukrainian jurisdiction in several areas of Lugansk Oblast and Donetsk Oblast. The discussion on politics focused on matters relating to the Steinmeier formula.
