MOSCOW, 23 May (BelTA) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will pay a working visit to Belarus on 29 May, spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova told a press briefing, BelTA has learned.
In Minsk Sergei Lavrov will hold talks with Belarus Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei to exchange views on the development of cooperation in the Union State, the CIS, the CSTO, the EAEU and to discuss the coordination of efforts in the OSCE and other international organizations, Maria Zakharova informed.
The foreign ministers will discuss the issues of mutual interest. Russia and Belarus are the strategic allies who advocate the establishment of an equal multipolar system of international relations, Maria Zakharova added.
