Rumas invites Babich to discuss fulfillment of Sochi agreements

MINSK, 8 October (BelTA) – Belarus' Prime Minister Sergei Rumas met with Russian Ambassador to Belarus Mikhail Babich on 8 October to discuss the fulfillment of the agreements reached by the heads of state in Sochi, BelTA has learned.

“We need to walk through the agreements discussed by our heads of state in Sochi, to understand how they are fulfilled and to determine what should be done to reach some results by the meeting of the heads of state in Mogilev on Friday,” Sergei Rumas said.

Mikhail Babich noted that the two countries had done a great job to prepare for the Sochi meeting of the heads of state and the meeting was very constructive, a series of decisions was made – some of them were already voiced, some will be made public after the Mogilev meeting. “We both know that solutions to the key, most sensitive issues have been found. The other issues will be discussed right away to find a solution that will benefit our states in the best way,” he added.
