MINSK, 15 March (BelTA) – In Europe, Belarus is seen as a country promoting dialogue, Didier Reynders, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs of Belgium, said as he met with Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko on 15 March, BelTA has learned.
Didier Reynders noted that more and more often Belarus becomes a participant of major international processes. He emphasized the important role of the country in the organization of the negotiation process to promote settlement of the conflict in Ukraine.
“We see Belarus as a country promoting dialogue,” Didier Reynders noted.
He also said that Belgium would like to see Belarus among the participants of the Eastern Partnership Summit to be held in Brussels in late 2017.
