Putin describes meeting with Belarus president as informative, constructive

MINSK, 19 June (BelTA) – The bilateral meeting with Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko was informative and constructive. President of Russia Vladimir Putin made the relevant statement after the session of the Supreme State Council of the Union State of Belarus and Russia in Minsk on 19 June, BelTA has learned.

Vladimir Putin said: “In the traditionally friendly and constructive atmosphere we discussed the entire range of topical aspects of Russian-Belarusian cooperation.” In his words, international cooperation was also touched upon during the talks.

Vladimir Putin met with Alexander Lukashenko before the session of the Supreme State Council of the Union State of Belarus and Russia. About ten matters were discussed during the session.
