Putin arrives in Minsk for Supreme State Council Summit

MINSK, 19 June (BelTA) – Russia President Vladimir Putin arrived in Minsk for the session of the Supreme State Council of the Union State. The aircraft with the Russian head of state on board landed at Minsk National Airport, BelTA informs.

Other members of the Supreme State Council from the Russian side and officials arrived in the Belarusian capital city earlier.

The agenda of the Supreme State Council Summit consists of ten issues. These include a program of concerted foreign policy activities for 2018-2019, issues concerning further development of the integration association in 2018-2022. The Supreme State Council of the Union State will also consider current activities of the integration association.

Apart from that, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko and Russia President Vladimir Putin will hold one-on-one negotiations to discuss the current state of affairs and development prospects of the bilateral relations, joint projects, interaction in integration formats and international organizations.
