Prince Michael of Kent to visit Belarus

MINSK, 6 October (BelTA) – Prince Michael of Kent, a member of the British Royal Family, will pay a working visit to Belarus on 10 to 13 October, spokesman for the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Mironchik told reporters on 6 October, BelTA has learned.

“The Prince is involved in consultancy, business and charity activities in a number of countries. For instance, several international non-profit road safety initiatives are conducted under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent,” Dmitry Mironchik noted.

The program of the visit includes meetings with Belarusian government officials, visits to the Hi-Tech Park and historical and cultural sites, such as the Khatyn memorial, the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War, and the National Art Museum.

“The visit of the member of the British Royal Family will contribute to the development of our trade and economic cooperation and strengthening of the cultural ties between Belarus and the United Kingdom,” Dmitry Mironchik said.
