Military and technical cooperation was one of the items on the session's agenda. Stanislav Zas said: “I think we will present some changes in principles of CSTO military and technical cooperation before the heads of state during the Collective Security Council session in autumn.”

In his words, the changes are designed to improve the level of military and technical cooperation.

Participants of the session discussed more than ten items on the agenda. Some of them were related to the routine operation of the Collective Security Treaty Organization. Participants of the session also discussed matters concerning further enhancement and development of the organization. In particular, information security in the CSTO member states was discussed. The need to continue working on the CSTO agreement on cooperation in information security was stressed.

Apart from that, the plan of actions for H2 2017 – H1 2018 was discussed and signed.
