MINSK, 17 August (BelTA) – Delegations of the parliaments of Poland and Sudan are expected to visit Belarus in late August – early September, BelTA learned from Valery Voronetsky, Chairman of the International Affairs Commission of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus.
According to the source, a delegation of Polish MPs led by Vice Speaker of the lower chamber of the Polish parliament Ryszard Terlecki is expected to visit Belarus on 30 August – 1 September. The delegation will visit Minsk and Grodno Oblast.
The Sudanese parliament delegation led by the lower chamber's Speaker Ibrahim Omer is expected to visit Belarus on 28-31 August. Members of the delegation are expected to meet with representatives of the central bank, the Agriculture and Food Ministry, the Industry Ministry, the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Energy Ministry, and the Belneftekhim concern.
The heads of the lower and upper chambers of the Belarusian parliament — Vladimir Andreichenko and Mikhail Myasnikovich — will hold negotiations with the head of the lower chamber of the Sudanese parliament. A memorandum on interparliamentary cooperation between Belarus and Sudan is supposed to be signed.
Apart from that, visits to the Belarusian mechanical engineering companies MTZ, MAZ, and BelAZ as well as several other events have been planned.
