MINSK, 18 July (BelTA) – An Office of the Honorary Consul of Belarus might open in Jordan, the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said during the Consular Day on its Facebook page, BelTA has learned.
“The decision on the opening of the Office of the Honorary Consul of Belarus in Jordan will be made soon,” the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed.
It emphasized that the ministry uses all opportunities and instruments to improve access of Belarusian nationals to consular services and consular assistance.
However, not everything depends on diplomats. For example, the situation in Syria has an impact on the work of the Belarusian diplomatic mission in this country. “At the same time, a consular worker of the Belarusian Embassy in Syria also travels to Lebanon to deal with consular matters. The schedule of offsite meetings is available on the website of the diplomatic mission,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted.
