New residential complex of Belarusian Embassy in Ukraine to be inaugurated on 26 August

MINSK, 25 August (BelTA) – A new residence for the Ambassador and living quarters for the diplomats in Ukraine will be inaugurated on 26 August, BelTA learned from the Embassy.

The ceremony will be attended by Belarus Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei, Kiev Mayor Vitaly Klitschko, Ukrainian political figures and representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Ukraine.

“Commissioning of the residential complex is in sync with the strategy of development of the network of Belarusian diplomatic missions abroad,” the Embassy said. This will help Belarus save on rent of residential premises, ensure a high level of security of Belarusian diplomats and members of their families. The Embassy stressed: “Commissioning of the residential complex of the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Kiev shows the commitment of Belarus to strengthen the high level of the friendly relations with Ukraine in the modern context.”

The residential complex is located in Solomensky District of Kiev. It includes the residence of the Ambassador, quarters for diplomats and embassy staff, underground parking for 20 cars, guest parking, and playgrounds for children and recreation area for adults.

Advanced technologies, latest environmental and economic solutions and security systems were used during the construction.
