MINSK, 7 August (BelTA) – Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich is expected to meet with representatives of the parliament and the government of Turkey during a visit of the Belarusian parliamentary delegation to the country on 7-8 August, BelTA learned from the press service of the upper house of the Belarusian parliament.
The Belarusian speaker is expected to meet with Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Ismail Kahraman, Prime Minister Binali Yildirim and Chairman of the Turkish parliamentary group of friendship with the National Assembly of Belarus Fevai Arslan.
“The visit of the Belarusian parliamentary delegation to Turkey will promote further intensification of inter-parliamentary cooperation, the discussion of promising areas of cooperation, and also other issues of mutual interest,” the press service of the Council of the Republic stressed.
