Minsk to host USA-Belarus Human Rights Dialogue on 12 October

MINSK, 11 October (BelTA) - Minsk will host the fifth annual Human Rights Dialogue between the United States and Belarus on 12 October, BelTA learned from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.

The U.S. delegation will be headed by Senior Bureau Official for the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor Michael Kozak. The Belarusian delegation will be led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Oleg Kravchenko.

During the U.S.-Belarus Human Rights Dialogue, the two sides will address a broad range of issues related to human rights and democracy in Belarus and the United States, and discuss promoting human rights in international fora, including the UN and OSCE, and broadening engagement with civil society, the U.S. Embassy said on its website.
