Malaysia parliamentary delegation in Belarus on a visit

MINSK, 19 December (BelTA) – Malaysia's parliamentary delegation led by Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliament Pandikar Amin Mulia has arrived in Belarus on a visit.

The program of the visit envisages meetings of Malaysian Speaker of the House of Representatives Pandikar Amin Mulia with Belarus' Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov, Chairman of the Council of the Republic Mikhail Myasnikovich, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Vladimir Andreichenko, Minsk Oblast Governor Semyon Shapiro.

Vladimir Andreichenko and Pandikar Amin Mulia are set to discuss a wide range of issues related to inter-parliamentary cooperation, bilateral trade and economic collaboration. The parties will also discuss prospects of cooperation in the agro-industrial sector, investment cooperation, the development of the legal framework, interregional cooperation with Malaysia's Sabah and Belarusian education services for Malaysian citizens.

The Malaysian delegation will be taken on a tour of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War, the Silichi ski resort. The Malaysian MPs will also visit a number of big Belarusian companies, including Minsk Tractor Works, Belarusian automobile engineering company BelAZ and others.

The official visit of the Malaysian parliamentary delegation to Belarus will be over on 23 December.
