MINSK, 23 April (BelTA) - Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Belarus Nasirjan Yusupov to receive the copies of the letters of credence, BelTA learned from the press service of Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Vladimir Makei noted that Belarus sincerely welcomes Uzbekistan's decision to open the embassy in Minsk. The parties agreed that this step will contribute to the development of the entire range of Belarus-Uzbekistan relations, including in the areas of mutual interest such as industry and industrial cooperation, investment cooperation, agriculture and education.
