Kyrgyzstan interested in Belarus' experience of OSCE PA session organization

MINSK, 8 July (BelTA) – As the country to host the autumn session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE PA) in 2018 Kyrgyzstan is interested in Belarus' experience of organizing this year's summer session, BelTA learned from the Kyrgyz MP Ulan Primov.

The Kyrgyz MP said: “In Belarus everything is organized up to high standards. We are interested in your experience of organizing and hosting the annual OSCE PA session. An autumn session will take place in Bishkek in 2018 so a working group has arrived as part of our country's delegation to study how our Belarusian colleagues had prepared for this important political event. You have set the bar high and we will try to keep up.”

On the whole, in his opinion, with this year's OSCE PA session Belarus has proved it is capable of hosting world-level events. “I've seen it personally,” added the delegate.

The OSCE PA summer session is taking place in Minsk on 5-9 July. It is dedicated to enhancing mutual trust and cooperation in the name of peace and prosperity in the region.
