German vice chancellor to visit Belarus 17 November

MINSK, 16 November (BelTA) – Vice Chancellor, Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany Sigmar Gabriel is expected to pay a working visit to Belarus on 17 November. This will be the first bilateral visit of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany to Belarus since 1995, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Sigmar Gabriel is set to meet with Belarus' Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei. The parties are to discuss a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, the prospects of developing Belarus-EU dialogue, and exchange opinions on the international and regional agenda.

The German federal minister for foreign affairs will also attend the 15th Minsk Forum.
