MINSK, 19 May (BelTA) – The financial monitoring subdivisions of Belarus and Pakistan plan to sign an agreement on cooperation in 2017, Chairman of the State Control Committee of Belarus Leonid Anfimov said as he met with a delegation of the Pakistan government bodies on 18 May, BelTA learned from the press service of the State Control Committee.
Leonid Anfimov informed the guests about the main tasks and structure of the monitoring agency. The Pakistani delegation was most interested in the work of two departments of the Belarusian State Control Committee: the department of financial investigations and the department of financial monitoring. The parties also discussed the promising areas of cooperation between the State Control Committee of Belarus and the government bodies of Pakistan.
The delegation of Pakistan is in Belarus on a visit. The Pakistani representatives have so far held a number of meetings in the Belarusian state organizations. The Pakistani delegation comprises representatives of government bodies and state institutions.
