Experts to meet in Minsk to review draft agenda of CIS Foreign Ministers Council meeting

MINSK, 2 December (BelTA) – The CIS Plenipotentiaries Council is expected to convene in Minsk on 3 December, BelTA learned from the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.

The experts will harmonize a joint plan of activities of the CIS Executive Committee, the CIS Council of Permanent Representatives and the Economic Affairs Commission at the CIS Economic Council to implement the instructions pursuant to the decisions adopted at the meetings of the CIS Council of Heads of State (11 October), the CIS Heads of Government Council (25 October), the CIS Foreign Ministers Council (10 October), and the proposals made by the heads of delegations during these meetings.

The plenipotentiaries will sum up their activities in the past year and discuss proposals for the work plan for 2020, taking into account the priorities of the CIS development. The CIS Executive Committee will also lay out the proposals to the draft agenda of the next meeting of the CIS Foreign Ministers Council due in Kazakhstan on 3 April 2020.
