MOSCOW, 29 June (BelTA) – Moscow played host to a meeting of the working group at the Committee of Secretaries of the Security Councils of the Collective Security Treaty Organization to discuss information policy and information security on 29 June, BelTA learned from CSTO spokesman Vladimir Zainetdinov.
“The meeting reviewed and finalized the draft decision of the Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) to introduce amendments and additions to the plan of priority action to build the foundations of coordinated information policy in the CSTO. They suggested continuing the consideration of the draft document in accordance with the rules of procedures of the CSTO,” the spokesman informed.
Members of the working group also discussed the cooperation of the CSTO Member States in strengthening the security of the information space.
The CSTO includes Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan.
