Contact group on Ukraine to reconvene in Minsk on 29 March

MINSK, 15 March (BelTA) – The next meeting of the trilateral contact group on Ukraine is scheduled for 29 March, OSCE's special representative in the trilateral contact group ambassador Martin Sajdik told reporters on 15 March.

The diplomat noted that the disruption of the rail service was in focus at the meeting of the working group on 15 March. “The participants discussed the course of events: one blockade along the Yasinovataya-Skotovataya railway line was lifted on 13 March,” he said. Besides, the meeting considered the issue of the so-called external management of the enterprises in Donetsk People's Republic and Lugansk People's Republic which has not been solved so far, Martin Sajdik said.

The economic agenda of the meeting included the possibility of resuming the transportation of coal across the contact line. The participants stressed the need for protecting the vital water infrastructure from the effects of the hostilities.
