MINSK, 2 March (BelTA) – The next meeting of the trilateral contact group on Ukraine is scheduled for 15 March, BelTA learned from the OSCE's special representative in the trilateral contact group Martin Sajdik.
Martin Sajdik said that Minsk hosted a meeting of the working group on economic affairs on 1 March. The parties continued discussing the supply of water and electricity to Donetsk Oblast and Lugansk Oblast, and also protection of critically important infrastructure. “The working group considered matters of environmental protection associated with the flooding of coal mines and involvement of an international group of experts in addressing this issue,” the diplomat said.
The working group on political affairs exchanged opinions on the decree concerning recognition in the Russian Federation of the documents and license plates of vehicles issued to Ukraine's citizens and persons without citizenship, who permanently reside in the areas of certain districts of Ukraine's Donetsk Oblast and Lugansk Oblast.
