MINSK, 29 November (BelTA) – Subgroups of the trilateral contact group on Ukraine are holding a working meeting in Minsk on 29 November, BelTA learned from the Twitter account of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting will be traditionally followed by a session of the contact group.
Compliance with the ceasefire agreements and security of civilians in the conflict zone were in the spotlight of the previous session on 15 November. Back then, the trilateral contact group and representatives of separate districts of Donetsk Oblast and Lugansk Oblast reaffirmed their commitment to the truce declared before the start of the new academic year.
The parties also touched upon water supply issues, namely current payments and repayment of arrears for supplied water. The group continued discussing ways to settle the debts owed to former Ukrainian Railways employees in Donetsk Oblast and Lugansk Oblast. The humanitarian working group resumed talks on the possible exchange of detained persons.
