MINSK, 18 April (BelTA) – The next session of the trilateral contact group on resolving the situation in Ukraine's east will take place in Minsk on 4 May, BelTA learned from the OSCE's special representative in the trilateral contact group on Ukraine Martin Sajdik on 18 April.
Martin Sajdik informed that during the meeting on 18 April the subgroup on humanitarian affairs continued discussing the exchange of prisoners of wars and their detention terms.
The subgroup on economic affairs discussed further steps needed to restore mobile communication service by Vodafone Ukraine Company in certain parts of Donetsk Oblast and Lugansk Oblast. The subgroup also discussed the payment of pensions and water supply via the Carbonite and Donbass Water systems.
The subgroup on political affairs continued discussing the implementation of the so-called Steinmeier formula. It was stressed that the successful work of the subgroup needed interaction with representatives of the Normandy format.
