MINSK, 19 May (BelTA) – The relations between Belarus and the United States are developing steadily, and the Belarusian side hopes that this dynamics will be further maintained, Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei told reporters on 19 May, BelTA has learned.
“Some time ago, we agreed to move towards each other by taking small steps to improve the positive environment of our relations. As you see, we are keeping to the agreement,” the minister stressed. He pointed out that the United States has extended the suspension of sanctions against some Belarusian enterprises.
“The relations with the United States are developing steadily, and there are reasons to believe that the relations will continue in the same vein,” Vladimir Makei said.
