MINSK, 18 July (BelTA) – Chairman of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Gennady Zyuganov will come to Belarus on 19 July on a working visit, the press service of the Communist Party of Belarus told BelTA.
Gennady Zyuganov is expected to meet with members of the international student team, who are working to rebuild the Dinamo stadium in Minsk. He will also visit a number of social facilities in Minsk. While in Belarus the Russian Communist Party leader will work on the program of the Central Committee of the Communist Party. BelTA has been told that opinions about progress in the parliamentary election campaigns in Belarus and Russia will be exchanged among other things.
Elections to the lower chamber of the Belarus parliament are scheduled for 11 September. Elections to the lower chamber of the Russian parliament are scheduled for 18 September.
