Belarusian MPs to debate second reading of amendments to anti-terrorism law on 7 December

MINSK, 6 December (BelTA) - Belarusian MPs plan to debate the second reading of the amendments to the anti-terrorism law on 7 December, BelTA learned from the press service of the House of Representatives.

The lower house is set to debate the second reading of the bill on amendments and additions to the law on physical education and sport. According to the press service, the members of parliament are set to ratify several international treaties. These include the protocol amending the agreement on cooperation in legal protection of intellectual property and on setting up the interstate council on legal protection of intellectual property rights as of 19 November 2010, the convention between Belarus and Spain on the avoidance of double taxation and prevention of fiscal evasion. Ratification of the government-to-government agreement between Belarus and Hong Kong on the abolition of visa requirements is also on the agenda.

The MPs will consider Ordinance No.7 “On entrepreneurship development” on 23 November. It is the key document in the package of regulations designed to improve the country's business climate.
