MINSK, 24 April (BelTA) – The tenth Diplomat of the Year award ceremony organized by the TATA Diplomat magazine and the diplomatic corps in London took place in the UK capital on 23 April. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Sergei Aleinik received the 2018 Diplomat of the Year from Eurasia award, BelTA has learned.
Heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations, senior diplomats, politicians, and businessmen attended the award ceremony. Diplomats themselves cast votes to choose the awardees, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.
