MINSK, 20 September (BelTA) – Belarus welcomes the agreements reached by South Korea President Moon Jae-in and his North Korea counterpart Kim Jong-un during the summit in Pyongyang, the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on the inter-Korean summit, BelTA has learned.
“The success of the talks was ensured through the will of the leaders and peoples of the two countries to achieve the inter-Korean settlement, and to ensure stability and peaceful development on the Korean Peninsula,” the ministry noted.
The ministry hopes that the outcome of the talks will serve as a good basis for further expansion of contacts and interaction between all stakeholders.
