Belarus, Vietnam to establish joint ventures, penetrate third-country markets

MINSK, 20 April (BelTA) – Belarus and Vietnam are intent on setting up joint manufacturing enterprises and penetrating third-country markets, primarily in the ASEAN region. The ideas were discussed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Vietnam Vladimir Goshin met with Vietnamese Public Security Minister To Lam, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.

While discussing prospects of advancing trade and economic cooperation, the sides paid close attention to the establishment of joint manufacturing enterprises and the penetration of third-country markets, primarily in the ASEAN region.

The meeting touched upon a large number of matters concerning Belarus-Vietnam cooperation, including the implementation of the agreements reached when a delegation of the Vietnamese Public Security Ministry visited Belarus.
