Belarus, Uruguay discuss ways to develop legal framework of cooperation

MINSK, 28 November (BelTA) – Belarus' Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Evgeny Shestakov met with Enrique Loedel, Director General (Deputy Minister) for Political Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uruguay, as part of his visit to Uruguay. The parties discussed ways to improve the legal framework of the bilateral cooperation, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Evgeny Shestakov and Enrique Loedel discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in politics, trade, economy and other areas and collaboration in international organizations. They also exchanged views on the current issues on the international agenda.

The parties once again showed their eagerness to improve the legal framework of the bilateral cooperation and sign agreements on cooperation in trade and economy, promotion and mutual protection of investments, and visa-free travel for citizens of Belarus and Uruguay.
