MINSK, 8 October (BelTA) – Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Vladimir Andreichenko will take part in the third meeting of the Speakers of the Parliaments of Eurasia in Antalya, Turkey, BelTA learned from the press service of the House of Representatives.
The meeting, scheduled for 10 October, will focus on economic cooperation, environment and sustainable development of Eurasia. “Participants of the forum will discuss ways and opportunities to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation between Eurasian countries, expansion of inter-parliamentary ties,” the press service said. Vladimir Andreichenko is expected to make a speech, hold bilateral meetings with heads of foreign parliamentary delegations.
Attending the forum will be representatives of parliaments of more than 35 countries of Europe and Asia, and also a number of international organizations.
The first meeting of the Speakers of the Parliaments of Eurasia was held in Moscow in 2016. The second one was hosted by Seoul, South Korea in 2017.
