Belarus, Spain agree on priority areas in business cooperation

MINSK, 18 October (BelTA) – Belarus and Spain have determined priority areas in developing business cooperation, Belarus' Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Oleg Kravchenko told the media after the first meeting of the joint intergovernmental Belarus-Spain commission on economic and industrial cooperation on 18 October, BelTA has learned.

According to the diplomat, the talks were constructive and reaffirmed similarity of approaches to the development of economic cooperation. “The potential for further cooperation is huge, and we are determined to use it to the maximum,” Oleg Kravchenko said.

“Among the priority sectors to develop cooperation between our business circles is the modernization of industrial potential, energy efficiency and energy saving, infrastructure and private-public partnership projects, IT, agriculture, transport and logistics,” the deputy minister said.

The sides agreed to study the ways of setting up working groups to implement joint projects in the abovementioned sectors.
