Belarus, Slovenia to hold ministerial consultations on 11 December

MINSK, 7 December (BelTA) – The Belarusian-Slovenian ministerial consultations will be held in Minsk on 11 December, spokesman for the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Mironchik told a press briefing, BelTA has learned.

The Belarusian delegation will be led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Oleg Kravchenko. The Slovenian delegation will be headed by State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Andrej Logar.

The parties will discuss the state and prospects of bilateral political dialogue, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Belarus and Slovenia, and also the development of the legal framework of bilateral relations and cooperation in international organizations. Special attention will be paid to the prospects of Belarus' dialogue with the European Union and the country's role in the EU's initiative Eastern Partnership.

The head of the Slovenian delegation is expected to meet with Belarus' Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei.
