Belarus, Russia compare notes on relations with China

MINSK, 24 November (BelTA) – Belarus and Russia held ministerial consultations to compare notes on their foreign policies in Northeast Asia and relations with China in Minsk on 23 November, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Belarusian delegation was led by Viktor Rybak, Head of the Department for Asia, Australia and Oceania of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Andrei Kulik, Head of the First Asian Department of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, headed the Russian delegation.

The sides exchanged opinion on the topical matters of cooperation with China, reviewed the situation on the Korean Peninsula, and discussed the prospects for implementing bilateral initiatives on international forums.
