MINSK, 21 November (BelTA) – Belarus has resumed its diplomatic presence in Sweden. This was announced at the meeting between Belarus' Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei and Sweden's Ambassador to Belarus Martin Aberg, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the press service, a Belarusian diplomat arrived in Stockholm on 16 November to serve as Belarus' Charge d'Affaires to Sweden.
During the meeting the parties also discussed the promising areas to develop cooperation between Belarus and Sweden, Belarus' interaction with the EU, and also issues of the regional agenda.
