MINSK, 14 May (BelTA) - Belarus' Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrei Dapkiunas received the copies of the letters of credence from Ambassador of the REpubic of the Congo to Belarus (with residence in Russia) David Maduka, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The parties discussed the possibility of developing a plan for comprehensive cooperation between the two countries in the agricultural industry, including the training of highly qualified specialists in Belarus, search for effective schemes of delivery and production of farm machines for the needs of the economy of the Republic of the Congo, and also the transfer of advanced technologies in agricultural production,” the press service said.
The diplomats discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, including the possibility of interstate contacts at the high and highest levels. The importance of enhancing cooperation in international organizations was highlighted during the meeting.
