Belarus parliament to meet with Marshal of Poland's Senate

MINSK, 5 December (BelTA) – Poland's parliamentary delegation led by Marshal of the Senate of the Republic of Poland Stanislaw Karczewski, which is in Belarus on a working visit, is expected to meet with representatives of the Belarusian parliament on 5 December.

While in Belarus, the head of the delegation is expected to meet with Chairman of the Council of the Republic Mikhail Myasnikovich and Speaker of the House of Representatives Vladimir Andreichenko, visit the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and attend a session of the Council of the Republic.

The Speaker of the Lower House of the Polish Parliament is also set to meet with students and the academic staff of the Philology Department of the Belarusian State University, representatives of Minsk secondary schools with the Polish language, and visit the Belarusian Research Center of Pediatric Oncology, Hematology and Immunology, and also Nesvizh Castle.

The Polish parliamentary delegation is in Belarus on the invitation of the Council of the Republic. The working visit will last through 6 December.
