Belarus-OSCE PA cooperation discussed in Andorra

MINSK, 4 October (BelTA) – Cooperation between the Belarusian parliament and the OSCE PA were discussed at the OSCE PA Autumn Meeting which is currently underway in Andorra la Vella, BelTA learned from the press service of the House of Representatives.

While in Andorra, the Belarusian parliamentary delegation led by Vice Speaker Boleslav Pirshtuk, held a number of bilateral meetings, including OSCE PA President Christine Muttonen and OSCE PA Secretary General Roberto Montella. The parties discussed cooperation between the Belarusian parliament and the OSCE PA and the participation in the PA events.

The Belarusian delegation also held talks with representatives of the parliamentary delegations of Sweden and Switzerland in the OSCE PA.

The OSCE PA Autumn Meeting is held in Andorra la Vella, Andorra through 5 October. The event is held under the theme “Security in the OSCE Area: New Challenges, New Tasks”. The Autumn Meeting discusses cybersecurity, climate change and education.
