Belarus, Nepal seek to step up cooperation in all areas

MINSK, 11 September (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to India with concurrent accreditation to Nepal Andrei Rzheussky has presented the letters of credence to Nepal President Bidhya Devi Bhandari, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Following the solemn ceremony, the Belarusian ambassador had a meeting with the president of Nepal. The parties noted that the two countries are eager to strengthen relations in all areas, including in politics, trade, economy, humanitarian sphere, and so on. The parties singled out agriculture, education, and transfer of technologies as priority areas of cooperation.

Andrei Rzheussky made an entry in a book of distinguished guests of the presidential palace in which he confirmed his commitment to fostering friendly relations between Belarus and Nepal.
