Belarus, Moldova to continue to cooperate closely in international organizations

MINSK, 19 April (BelTA) - Belarus and Moldova agreed to continue to cooperate closely in international organizations, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA following a meeting between Belarus' Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei and Moldova's Minister of Foreign Affairs and European integration Tudor Ulianovschi held in Chisinau on 19 April.

“The parties discussed the cooperation between Belarus and Moldova in trade, economy and investment, and reviewed the prospects for joint projects in agriculture, road construction, healthcare and also the issues humanitarian and interregional cooperation. In addition, an agreement was reached to continue the close cooperation within the framework of international organizations, the ministry said.

As it was reported, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko is in Moldova on an official visit on 18-19 April.
