Belarus-Moldova cooperation discussed

MINSK, 20 November (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Moldova to Belarus Victor Sorocean talked about a wide range of matters of bilateral cooperation on 20 November, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“The sides discussed a wide range of matters of bilateral interaction, including economic cooperation, and preparations for holding Belarus-Moldova events at different levels scheduled for the near future,” the ministry noted.

The meeting was timed to the 25th anniversary of Belarus-Moldova diplomatic relations. Vladimir Makei and Victor Sorocean expressed satisfaction with the fact that since the establishment of diplomatic relations, Belarus-Moldova dialogue has become stable and filled with contacts at the highest, high, and other levels. The two ministries of foreign affairs regularly arrange consultations; the countries have been developing multifaceted cooperation, including direct contacts between regions.
