Belarus, Laos to develop legal framework of bilateral relations

MOSCOW, 18 January (BelTA) - Belarus and Laos plan to develop the legal framework of bilateral relations, the press service of the Belarusian Embassy in Russia told BelTA following a meeting between Belarus' Ambassador to the Russian Federation Igor Petrishenko and Ambassador of Laos to Belarus with concurrent accreditation Siviengphet Phetvorasack.

“The parties discussed the status and prospects of development of Belarusian-Lao cooperation. Special attention was paid to the development of the legal framework of bilateral relations,” the embassy said.

Diplomatic relations between Belarus and Laos were established on 7 February 1994.
