Belarus, Israel mull over joint industrial park

MINSK, 4 November (BelTA) – Belarus and Israel are working on a joint industrial park project. The matter was discussed at a meeting between Belarus' Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Valentin Rybakov and Immigration and Absorption Minister, Co-Chair of the Belarusian-Israeli joint committee on trade and economic cooperation Zeev Elkin, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties discussed the organization of the fifth meeting of the Belarusian-Israeli joint committee on trade and economic cooperation, the joint project of the Belarusian-Israeli industrial park as well as cooperation in the banking sector, the press service informed.

The meeting was held as part of the working visit of the Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs to Israel that would be over on 5 November. Earlier, Valentin Rybakov met with President of the Magnezi Group, founder of the Israel-Belarus Trading Chamber Gabi Magnezi. “The parties discussed ways to intensify cooperation between businessmen of the two countries and the organization of joint business events,” the ministry added.
